Benchmarking the South African Compliance Industry

The Compliance Institute SA is embarking on a benchmark study to enable organisations to assess their compliance functions independently against the best in class. The Institute is supported in this endeavour by EXP Regulatory Compliance Consulting (Pty) Ltd who have developed the Compliance Assessment Tracking Tool (CAT-TŠ, EXP 2011 ).

How to support this benchmarking study

• Take part in the study - it is important to achieve a comprehensive reaction from the market players to enable solid statistical analyses
• Order the reports to gain insight into how your organisation's management of compliance risk compares to your peers, other organisations and best practice. Please note that there is a cost involved when ordering the reports - see 'Reports and pricing information' link
• Implement the recommendations. The study will track improvements over time. The study will be conducted on an annual basis.

The first 10 (ten) respondents can order their generic report at a 50% discount, i.e. R2500.

Timelines

• You can submit your response(s) from now until 31 March 2012. The deadline was extended due to various requests from participants.
• Depending on the number of responses received, reports can be ordered from April 2012 onwards (sufficient responses are required to perform analyses and prepare the reports).

Your support will ensure the success of the benchmarking study. The quality of the analyses is directly dependent on the number of responses and the size of the sample.
